What hardware do I need?
What hardware do I need?
Timberflow runs on ALPS ruggedised PDA devices with built-in barcode scanners, rated IP65+ for dust and water resistance. We can help you source the right devices for your yard. Read more about how scanning workflows work in a timber yard.
Does it work without internet?
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The PDA app works fully offline. Scans, movements, photos, and stocktake counts are stored locally on the device and sync automatically when connectivity returns. No data is ever lost due to a dropped connection.
How long does it take to get set up?
How long does it take to get set up?
Most sawmills are up and running within a week. We configure your species, grades, treatment classes, and stations, then train your team on the PDA devices. The initial stocktake to load your current inventory is the biggest step.
What does Timberflow track?
What does Timberflow track?
Every timber pack through its full lifecycle: barcode scanning at creation, movements with GPS, treatment and grade data, stocktake reconciliation, and dispatch with docket generation. All visible on a real-time inventory dashboard.
Can I manage multiple sites?
Can I manage multiple sites?
Yes. Timberflow supports multi-site operations from a single login. Each site has its own inventory, stations, devices, and users. Switch between sites from the dashboard.
How does stocktaking work?
How does stocktaking work?
Start a stocktake from the dashboard, then your team walks the yard scanning pack barcodes in "Count" mode. Timberflow classifies every scan automatically: found, missing, unexpected, or unknown. A full reconciliation report is generated when the count is complete. Read our complete stocktake guide for the full process.
What does it cost?
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the number of sites and devices. Get in touch and we'll put together a quote based on your operation.
Where is my data stored?
